Stop by the Kim Yerton Memorial Hoopa Branch Library and talk to Acorn Wireless’s expert Digital Navigator, Abraham Camez. He’ll get you started and help you over any stumbling blocks. Acorn Wireless is a tribally owned internet service provider operated by the Hoopa Valley Public Utilities District. It was started in 2020 from CARES funding approved by the Hoopa Valley Tribal Council and supports Hoopa Valley people in key activities like distance learning, remote work, and telemedicine. Acorn provides high-speed broadband internet for the Hoopa Community.
