A New Downtown Event Series—Don’t Miss Out!
We’re excited to introduce the Summer Season Downtown Mixer, a new event to bring energy and visitors downtown! Join us downtown on the first Saturdays of May 3rd, June 7th, August 2nd, and September 6th from 4pm – 7pm. We’ll skip July to celebrate Bigfoot Daze on July 12th.
Each mixer will feature a special Bigfoot Passport Game to encourage foot traffic into participating businesses. Customers will visit your store to receive a unique mark on their passport, and completed passports will be entered into a drawing for prizes.
BUSINESSES – Want to Get Involved?
We want this to be a win for everyone — especially our hardworking small businesses. Participation is free, flexible, and does not require Chamber membership.
How to Participate:
- Invite attendees in to collect passport stamps.
- Offer a small promotion, sample, or special to boost engagement.
- You may serve food or beverages inside your business. Alcohol must stay indoors, and you are responsible for any required permits and insurance.
Supporting Local Business:
To ensure local businesses benefit, we are not bringing in outside food vendors. Instead, we encourage businesses to get creative by:
- Partnering with local organizations or artists for added foot traffic.
- Hosting a pop-up shop with another local business.
- Organizing a bake sale or sampling event.
To keep the spotlight on our local businesses, no outside food vendors will be invited. This is your moment to shine!
