Owned and operated by Miles Garrett and Carla Barroso, this Willow Creek winery focuses on estate grown, organic, and natural wines made with minimal intervention and a lot of intention.
Their vineyard is entirely dry farmed, relying only on rainfall and deep root systems rather than irrigation. While this approach produces lower yields, it results in wines that are concentrated, expressive, and shaped by the character of the Willow Creek AVA, the designated wine growing region that captures the unique climate, soils, and landscape of Willow Creek. Fermented with native yeasts and made without added sulfur, each bottle is meant to honestly reflect the land and the season that produced it.
Miles Garrett Wines is guided by a clear mission to craft wines that express the land of Willow Creek while practicing thoughtful stewardship and hands on work in both the vineyard and cellar. Their long term vision centers on caring for the land with integrity so it can continue to support distinctive and balanced wines for generations to come.
Beyond the vineyard, Miles and Carla are active supporters of the local community. They regularly donate wine to local events and fundraisers, including Festival of Light and Wonder and Bigfoot Daze, and organized a fundraiser to support local firefighters during the 2022 wildfire season. You can experience their wines through local tastings, farmers markets, and community events, where they enjoy connecting directly with people and sharing the story behind each vintage.
