64 years. That’s how long this community has been showing up for Bigfoot Daze, and we don’t take that lightly.

We know Veterans Park holds a special place in a lot of hearts as the home of Bigfoot Daze dating back to the 70’s. The good news is that the park renovation is underway and shaping up to be something truly special for Willow Creek. We can’t wait to bring the festival back there if possible.

In the meantime, we listened to your feedback from last year and we made some real changes. More cooling stations, greener grounds, more breathing room, and a new June date that gives us a fighting chance on the weather, avoids the uncertainty of fire season, and doesn’t conflict with other local events.

Downtown Willow Creek on a summer Saturday with live music, local food, kids activities, a parade, and 64 years of tradition? We think you’re going to have a great time.

And don’t forget – the party doesn’t stop when the music does. Bigfoot Daze rolls into Saturday night with the official afterparty at Dub n the Creek.

This event is built by volunteers who pour their hearts into making it special for the whole community. If you have ideas or input, we’d love to see you at a planning meeting. Show up, get involved, and help us make it great.

Start planning your costumes, floats, and decorations!! We can’t wait to see how you bring Red, White & Bigfoot to life!

This year’s Bigfoot Daze will celebrate 250 years of independence and we will all rock the stars and stripes!!

We want this year’s parade to be bigger and better than ever – and we need you to help make that happen! Whether you’re part of a business, organization, club, or just a group of friends with a fun idea, we welcome all creative and spirited entries.

What can you enter? Almost anything – floats, classic cars, heavy equipment, livestock, dance teams, decorated bikes, walking groups, or anything else that showcases the unique spirit of our community. Be creative, have fun, and bring your best Bigfoot energy!

What is NOT allowed? Please do not include any political messages in your entry. This is about celebrating 250 years of indpendence. We will not allow any entries that include messages about politics and you will not be allowed to participate on the day if there are any political messages in your entry. Thank you for keeping this fun and festive for the whole community!

Bigfoot Daze is turning 64 this year and we’d love to have you be part of it.

This free community festival draws approximately 1,000 to 2,000 attendees to Downtown Willow Creek every year, in a town of just 1,280 residents. That means real visibility with locals, regional visitors, and Bigfoot enthusiasts from across Northern California, all in one place, on one day. Bigfoot Daze 2026 is Saturday, June 27th.
