Thank you for being a part of Bigfoot Daze! We appreciate your participation in this beloved community tradition. To ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone, please review the following parade guidelines and waiver.

By participating in the Bigfoot Daze Parade, I acknowledge and accept that my participation is entirely voluntary and at my own risk.

Parade Guidelines

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, I agree to follow these guidelines:

  • Entries must be family-friendly, safe, and in good taste.
  • No throwing or launching objects. Handing out goodies is permitted, but they must be distributed directly (not thrown).
  • Entries must maintain parade pace to prevent gaps and ensure a smooth flow.
  • All drivers and one adult representative per youth group must attend the mandatory safety meeting.
  • Livestock or animals must be properly controlled at all times. Participants are responsible for cleanup.
  • Vehicles, floats, and equipment must be in safe working condition.
  • Participants assume responsibility for any minors or animals in their group.

Release of Liability

In full consideration of the risks involved, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, assigns, or personal representatives, knowingly and voluntarily waive, release, and hold harmless the Willow Creek Chamber of Commerce (WCCC), its affiliates, board members, managers, agents, attorneys, staff, volunteers, sponsors, and any other associated parties from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in the Parade.

This waiver includes, but is not limited to, risks associated with traveling to, participating in, or departing from the Parade, such as physical or psychological injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, economic or emotional loss, and even death. I acknowledge that these risks may result from my own actions, the actions of others, or conditions related to the event.

I understand that I am responsible for ensuring the safety of myself, my vehicle, my passengers, my float, my livestock (if applicable), and any minors under my supervision. I further agree to comply with all Parade rules and regulations, including safety requirements. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event without a refund.

By submitting my parade application and payment, I confirm that I have carefully read and fully understand this Release of Liability and Parade Guidelines. I voluntarily agree to these terms and waive any right to bring legal action against the Willow Creek Chamber of Commerce for personal injury, property damage, or any other loss arising from my participation in the Parade.
